Directions to the Zoo
When using an online mapping service or a GPS device, we recommend entering one of these two physical addresses: 5601 US 90 E or 5601 Highway 90 E - both are in Broussard, LA 70518.
We are located just 15 minutes South of I-10 on Highway 90!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From I-49 North of I-10 (Carencro, Opelousas, Alexandria, Shreveport, etc.)
- Take I-49 South and pass under I-10. Continue with the directions below:
From I-10 (West: Lake Charles; Texas, etc.; East: Baton Rouge, New Orleans, etc.)
- Take the Lafayette Exit 103 off of I-10. Merge onto I-49 / Highway 90 South bound. I-49 will change to Evangeline Thruway and then to Highway 90. The Zoo is located on left hand side 1 mile after the first overpass (you will drive over Highway 182 and railroad tracks). You will have traveled about 12 miles since I-10.
From Highway 90 South of Broussard (New Iberia, Franklin, Morgan City, etc.)
- Take Highway 90 towards Broussard/Lafayette. The Zoo is located on right hand side about 11 miles after the intersection of Highway 14 and Highway 90.
The Zoo's entrance is located at 5601 US / Highway 90 E in Broussard, LA 70518.
