Construction Phases for our New Playground!

Phase 1
The first stage in building the new playground involved destroying the original, outdated set. We also had to move the antique Fire Engine closer to the Cougar habitat to make room for the new, enormous complex. We then had to finalize the plans and decide on the exact position that we wanted the set.
Phase 2
Once the old playground set was out of the way, we leveled the dirt mound and framed up a level foundation in which to pour the concrete slab.
Phase 3
The concrete was poured and had to dry for several days. Once the slab was completely dry, we installed a special playground grass-carpet.
Phase 4
Next, came the enormous playground itself. Construction on the structure required several weeks. All of the slides, crawl tubes, rock walls, hideouts, and bridges had to be carefully placed to ensure maximum fun! It will provide unlimited fun for the children of Acadiana!
Phase 5
The final stage includes the children in Acadiana having loads of fun! So come to the Zoo and explore all of the new adventures!
