Admission Rates (prices include tax):
  • $9.25 for adults (ages 13 to 54)
  • $5.50 for children (ages 3 to 12)
  • $8.25 for senior citizens (ages 55+)
  • FREE for children ages 2 and under

Normal Hours of Operation:
9am to 5pm**, seven days a week (January to November)
  • ** weather permitting **

Winter Hours of Operation:
9am to 4pm, seven days a week (December Only)
Safari of Lights: 5pm to 9pm (December)
  • ** weather permitting **

For the safety of the zoo's animals, no outside food or drinks are allowed.  No pets may be brought into the zoo at any time.

The Zoo is closed all day on the following holidays:
  • New Year's Day (January 1)
  • Easter Sunday
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day (December 25)

The Zoo closes at 12 noon on the following holidays:
  • Christmas Eve (December 24)
  • New Year's Eve (December 31).)

Visitor Attire
For the sake of all patrons, shoes and shirts are required at all times of all visitors to the Zoo of Acadiana. Modest dress, as a courtesy to others, is expected of all guests and revealing or offensive clothes are not considered appropriate. Those wearing articles of clothing containing obscenities, vulgarities, or profanities will be asked to change their clothing or wear their shirts turned inside out. Admission may be denied if clothing is deemed inappropriate for the family atmosphere. Some language, gestures, and suggestive art on apparel may be considered inappropriate. The Zoo of Acadiana reserves the right to address these issues with all guests and all clothing is subject to management review and discretion. The cooperation of our patrons is greatly appreciated.
